We are currently looking for an experienced Out of Home Care Clinician to join our dedicated team in Taree, NSW.

Your next opportunity
In this role, you will oversee clinical consultations and therapeutic services for vulnerable children and young people and their families in Out of Home Care.
The key drivers for this role include:
- Support: support clients in clinical and therapeutic practices in partnership with the OOHC case management team
- Monitor: review and assist with the monitoring of behaviour interventions and develop effective case management to meet the need of the child or young person.
- Case Management Coordination: develop and implement systems around effective case management that encourage the participation of all stakeholders, particularly the child or young person.
- Governance: report and collect and evaluate data regarding clinical outcomes.
What you will bring to the role
We are looking for a passionate, team-oriented individual to join our team. Able to work autonomously, you will be able to build strong relationships with stakeholders both within the organisation and external to it.
Key to your success in the role will be:
- Proven experience in a similar role;
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work or Psychology, Counselling (specifically therapeutic, trauma-informed and mental health practices);
- A comprehensive understanding of current child protection systems and policies; and
- A demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, including developing behavioural strategies and reviewing the clinical practices to ensure they meet the needs of the children, young people and families.
Your strong communication skills will enable you to effectively engage with the children and young people in our care and draw them into practical engagement with the assistance we offer.
